Soupe Pho
Soupe Pho. There's some debate over the history of pho, but most people agree it originated in or near Hanoi. In a roasting pan, combine the mushrooms, celery, carrots, onions, ginger, lemongrass and canola oil.
But if you want it cooked before, just sear those thin slices in a skillet. Rinse and drain the soybean sprouts. In individual bowls, place the ingredients in.
Pour in the broth, then finish with the mung bean sprouts (sometimes called bean sprouts).
Discard onion, star anise, cloves, ginger and cinnamon stick.
Add all other ingredients for the broth and bring to a boil. Add the rice vermicelli, beef, cilantro, and bean sprouts. There's some debate over the history of pho, but most people agree it originated in or near Hanoi.
